How to Backup Blackberry Third Party Applications

This one is an easy one, and most of you will already know how to do this; but for those who don't, I highly recommend learning and doing this ever so often, especially when you get your device where you like it as far as the the 3rd party apps you have loaded on your phone.

1. Connect your device to your computer.

2. Open the Desktop Manager program on your PC.

3. Select the "Device Switch Wizard" on the Main Menu.

4. Select the "Switch Blackberry devices" option.

5. In the "Current Device" option, you should see your PIN, in the "New Device" option, these fields should be and remain blank, and finally in the "Options" field, ONLY SELECT the "Third Party Applications" and leave the other three UNSELECTED. This is VERY IMPORTANT, as this will only save the 3rd party apps on your device to an alx file and a folder.

6. Select the "Next" button and begin the action.

7. When it says, "Plug in or Connect the device you wish to switch to" you need to minimize the program and right click on the Start button(depending on which version of Windows you are running) and do a search of all files, even hidden ones on your hard drive(C: or D:, etc, etc). You are going to search for a file titled "whatever your PIN # is" and also include the temporary files as well. This may take a couple minutes, but you should be able to find it without too much trouble.

8. Once the file is found, save the "File Folder" of your PIN # and you can also save the .alx if you wish, but I believe that will also be located in the file folder that you just saved. Once you have done this; and remember to save it somewhere that you can remember where it is, you can then open back up the Desktop Manager program, and select the "Cancel" option and then you can go to the Main Menu if you like or close Desktop Manager all together, depending on if you have something else you want to do with your device.

9. Finally, that's it!!! You have just saved a copy of all your 3rd party apps that you can access and load onto your device at your will, whenever you like, simply by starting Desktop Manager, Selecting the Add or Update Applications option, and then selecting the Browse option, and then select the folder you have saved and click open, and viola! There they are. I hope you can understand this easily enough, and if not, give me a shout, and I will help walk you through it, step by step.

Good Luck

This tutorial can be used to jailbreak before applying the UltraSn0w unlock.

** If you would like to jailbreak on the 3.0.1 firmware you can follow these exact instructions; however, in Step Two restore using this 3.0.1 iPhone firmware file instead of the 3.0 one. Continue with the instructions as indicated.**

Step One
Create a folder on your desktop called Pwnage

Download RedSn0w from here and place it in the Pwnage folder. Likewise, download the latest 3.0 firmware from below and place it in the same folder.

3.0.0 (3G): iPhone1,2_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw

Extract the RedSn0w zip file to the Pwnage folder.

Step Two
Connect your iPhone to the computer and launch iTunes.

Select your iPhone from the list of devices on the left. Now hold down shift and click the Restore button. Restore is preferred as it won't create any wasted space on your iPhone.

Hack into Windows XP computer without changing password

Hack Windows XP without changing/cracking the password and find out all and any passwords on the computer (including admin accounts) thus bypassing all Guest account restrictions.

You do not need access to any accounts to do this. Of course, do not do this on anyone else's computer without proper authorization.

Steps to help you Hack into a Windows XP Computer without changing password:

1. Get physical access to the machine(computer). Remember that it must have a CD or DVD drive.

2.
Download the software DreamPackPL

3. Unzip the downloaded dreampackpl_iso.zip and you'll get dreampackpl.ISO.

4. Use any burning program that can burn ISO images.

5. After you have the disk, boot from the CD or DVD drive. You will see Windows 2000 Setup
and it will load some files.

6. Press "R" to install software DreamPackPL.

7. Press "C" to install DreamPackPL by using the recovery console.

8. Select the Windows installation that is currently on the computer (Normally is "1" if you only have one Windows installed)

9. Backup your original sfcfiles.dll by typing:
"ren C:\Windows\System32\sfcfiles.dll sfcfiles.lld" (without quotes)

10. Copy the hacked file from CD to system32 folder. Type:
"copy D:\i386\pinball.ex_ C:\Windows\System32\sfcfiles.dll" (without quotes and assuming your CD drive is D:)

11. Type "exit", take out disk and reboot.

12. In the password field, type "dreamon" (without quotes) and DreamPack menu will appear.

13. Click the top graphic on the DreamPack menu and you will get a menu popup.

14. Go to commands and enable the options and enable the god command.

15. Type "god" in the password field to get in Windows.

You can also go to Passwords and select "Logon with wrong password and hash". This option allows you to login with ANY password.

Ultimate Computer Viruses Guide

What is a Computer Virus ?
A potentially damaging computer program capable of reproducing itself causing great harm to files or other programs without permission or knowledge of the user.

Types of viruses :-
The different types of viruses are as follows-

1) Boot Sector Virus :- Boot sector viruses infect either the master boot record of the hard disk or the floppy drive. The boot record program responsible for the booting of operating system is replaced by the virus. The virus either copies the master boot program to another part of the hard disk or overwrites it. They infect a computer when it boots up or when it accesses the infected floppy disk in the floppy drive. i.e. Once a system is infected with a boot-sector virus, any non-write-protected disk accessed by this system will become infected.

Examples of boot- sector viruses are Michelangelo and Stoned.

2) File or Program Viruses :- Some files/programs, when executed, load the virus in the memory and perform predefined functions to infect the system. They infect program files with extensions like .EXE, .COM, .BIN, .DRV and .SYS .

Some common file viruses are Sunday, Cascade.

3) Multipartite Viruses :- A multipartite virus is a computer virus that infects multiple different target platforms, and remains recursively infective in each target. It attempts to attack both the boot sector and the executable, or programs, files at the same time. When the virus attaches to the boot sector, it will in turn affect the system's files, and when the virus attaches to the files, it will in turn infect the boot sector.
This type of virus can re-infect a system over and over again if all parts of the virus are not eradicated.

Ghostball was the first multipartite virus, discovered by Fridrik Skulason in October 1989.
Other examples are Invader, Flip, etc.

4) Stealth Viruses :- These viruses are stealthy in nature means it uses various methods for hiding themselves to avoid detection. They sometimes remove themselves from the memory temporarily to avoid detection by antivirus. They are somewhat difficult to detect. When an antivirus program tries to detect the virus, the stealth virus feeds the antivirus program a clean image of the file or boot sector.

5) Polymorphic Viruses :- Polymorphic viruses have the ability to mutate implying that they change the viral code known as the signature each time they spread or infect. Thus an antivirus program which is scanning for specific virus codes unable to detect it's presense.

6) Macro Viruses :- A macro virus is a computer virus that "infects" a Microsoft Word or similar application and causes a sequence of actions to be performed automatically when the application is started or something else triggers it. Macro viruses tend to be surprising but relatively harmless.A macro virus is often spread as an e-mail virus. Well-known examples are Concept Virus and Melissa Worm.
